Trekking To Hill Tribe Villages 1 Night Hotel Offer
Sapa - Ho Stream - Ma Tra - Ta Phin - Sin Chai
A 2 day trekking tour will absolutely give you an interesting overview about Sapa, the stunning landscape, friendly local ethnic groups. This journey brings you unforgettable moment on every trekking road to the remote villages around Sapa.
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai
You will be at Hanoi railway station 1 hour before the train departure to reconfirm you train ticket and then board the comfortable train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train journey.
Day 1: Sapa - Ho Stream - Ma Tra - Red Dzao Village (B,L)
Trekking Road: 10 km in 4 hours
Train arrives at Lao Cai station (the last stop), you will be transferred to Sapa with a 45 minute drive. Then check in hotel if rooms are available, relax and have breakfast.You begin the day with a 3 km trek through the breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho - a home of Hmong minority. Walking on the main road for a couple of minutes, then turning to the buffalo small trails to visit the hospitality village of Black Hmong minority people at Ma Tra. From here, you will enjoy the stunning view to the endless rice terraces and also have the opportunity to see the livestock used by the locals, sometimes you can see pupils playing local games during the break at communal schools. They are cute and kind, always greet you with nice smile and hospitality. During the trek, you come across the the impressive remains of monastery dating back the French occupation in the early 1900s. Then have a break for lunch. After the light lunch, you continue to trek to towards to Taphin village where you will meet Red Dzao and Black Hmong minorities to learn about their culture, custom and daily activities in the village. The Red Dzao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as the usage of plants in treating the illness. Finishing the trekking day with a transfer back to Sapa, you will have dinner at restaurant in town and overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Sapa - Sin Chai - Cat Cat Waterfall - Lao Cai (B,L)
Trekking Road: 8 km in 3 hours
Breakfast in hotel, check out, then take a short trek to Cat Cat village 2 km away from Sapa town. This is an age-old village of Hmong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices that are lost in the other villages. You have an opportunity to admire a lively and colorful picture of young women sitting by looms with colorful pieces of brocade decorated with designs of flowers and birds.They are dyed and embroidered with beautiful designs. In addition to the brocade weaving craft, many residents in Cat Cat are good at manipulating gold and silver jewelry. On the way you can see Hydro-Electric power station built by French in the early of 20th century and waterfall nearby, a good place for resting and taking a photo. Walk further to arrive at Sin Chai village, another traditional hill tribe Hmong people.The beautiful Sin Chai is surrounded verdant hills and mountains. Picnic lunch will be served in Sin Chai before you walk back to Sapa town to take a transfer to Lao Cai to reach a night train back to Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives in Hanoi at 5 am. End of tour. Taxi is available in the platform. You can take it to your hotel by yourself.
