Trekking To Hill Tribe Villages - Experience with 3 Different Ethnic Minority

Explore the Charm of Sapa with the trekking road down to valleys, terraced paddy fields till remote villages to enjoy the best view about Sapa landscape and experience interestingly at homestay of the ethnic.

Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai

You will check in the night train departing to Lao Cai province with the instruction of our friendly staff at Hanoi railway station. Sleep on the 9 hour train.

Day 1: Sapa - Cat Cat village (B, L)

After a long hour train journey, you arrive at Lao Cai where our driver will greet and pick you up at the exit with your name on our sign.Then taking a 45 minute drive to Sapa town. On the way up to town, you can experience wonderfully about mountainous space, Hoang Lien Son mountain scenery, terraced paddy fields under your eyes through car window. The air is so fresh and pure bringing a lot of cool wind. Our driver will take you to hotel for checking in and relaxing with arrival breakfast.Then is your leisure to explore the Sapa town with attractive destinations as Sapa Stone Church built by french, Sapa market where local people trade goods everyday and a complex of french villas. Lunch at restaurant in town. In the afternoon, having a short trek to Cat Cat village, 2 km away from Sapa town. Cat Cat village is an interesting destination on your trip to explore the landscape as terraced rice fields, Cat Cat waterfall, the hydro-electric station and especially tradional handicraft of Hmong people. Back to Sapa after trekking, overnight in hotel. 

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L)

Wake up, staring at the sunrise from mountain side through the hotel room window, you will feel very comfortable and relaxed after a wonderful night. Breakfast at hotel, then start your trek with our tour guide from the town to Lao Chai along Muong Hoa valley. The picturesque scenery appears slowly in front of you after your step forwards. The green color of tree covers the mountain and the terraced paddy field is yellow for the whole area in the harvest season. Meet and talk with Hmong people to get to know about them and explore their daily life. Sometimes, you will have chance to see cows, buffaloes, chicken raised around villagers' house. The picnic lunch will be served in Lao Chai. 

The next stop is Tavan village where Dzay and Hmong people live together for years. Free at your leisure to explore Tavan village, playing the traditional game with children, prepare dinner with house host and overnight in the traditional wooden house of the Dzay. 

Day 3: Sapa - Giang Ta Chai - Lao Cai (B, L)

Wake up in the early morning with echoing crow in the silent space filled with mist after a whole night. Take a deep breath and do a little morning exercise before breakfast. After having breakfast, you say goodbye to house host to leaving for Giang Ta Chai village located next to Muong Hoa stream. You will trek through bamboo forest which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will pass by a waterfall where you will have time to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. You will find a nice place to enjoy lunch. After lunch, you start your trip back to Sapa by car. Pack your luggages and go back to Lao Cai station to take a night train to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi

The train arrives back to Hanoi railway station. Tour ends.
