Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long (L)
Depart from Saigon at 07:30 for the 2 hours drive to Vinh Long. Upon arrival, hop on your bike for a 30-35 km tour to explore Vinh Long and the neighbouring villages of Phuc Hau and Long Phuoc. While cycling along the canals and rice fields, you will stop by and discover the old relics of Vinh Long citadel, the biggest Cao Dai temple of the province, an ancient house, a traditional brick factory and visit small villages specialized in vegetables planting, conical hat making and coconut palm weaving. You will have lunch in the restaurant and come back to Vinh Long around 15:00 for your drive to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 2: Can Tho - Cai Rang floating Market - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Check out early in the morning and board a motor boat to visit Cai Rang floating market. Continue the visit to Ba Cong orchard garden and walk around to discover the colorful local life. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, stop by the Binh Thuy ancient house, one of the recording sites of the famous romantic movie “The Lover”.
