Day 1: Phnompenh Arrival (D)
Welcome to Phnompenh, Cambodia! Upon arrival in the international airport,bus, boat harbor, you are warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the Royal Palace which was built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town and the silver pagoda located within the ground of the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the Royal abode of the King of Cambodia. The National Museum, built in 1917-1918 is exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts, Unalom pagoda and Toul Seng Genocide museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security force and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Dinner at Bolpha Phnompenh restaurant and night at hotel.
Day 2: Phnompenh Departure (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel - take a fun by Rermork "tuk tuk" ride to Wat Phnom as the most significant of the all temples in Phnompenh, then continue to the Central market (Psai Thmei) a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with 4 arms branching out into the vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold, silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, fabrics, shoes, seafood so on. Lunch at Friends restaurant. Free until transfer to the internationl airport for boarding home sweet home or next destination.
